Chess Federation of Switzerland has the honor to invite your representatives to the MITROPACUP 2020. The tournament will be organized with two separate sections, open section and women’s section. The venue takes place in Davos.

Davos in Grisons is a place of superlatives: this holiday destination with international ambience is the largest resort in the Alps for mountain holidays, sport and conferences, at 1560 m the highest town in the Alps and a high-altitude health resort with a long tradition. In the centre of Davos, visitors will find excellent shopping, with numerous boutiques, cafés and restaurants.

Teams: Each team is composed of four players plus one reserve (for open
section) and four women players plus one reserve (for women´s section)
and one team captain.
Time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to finish the game, with
30 seconds increment after each move starting from move 1.
Chief arbiter: Georg Kradolfer, International arbiter.
Prizes: The first three teams will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.
Accomodation: Each team is provided full board accommodation in double rooms in
“Central Sporthotel“. Additional single rooms and accommodation for
accompanying persons can be organised.
Travel details: Transfer from ‘Zurich Airport’ to ‘Davos Platz’ by train (ca. 2h 50m, ca. 50
€ one way). From Bellinzona to ‘Davos Platz’ by bus and train (ca. 2h 50m,
ca. 55 € one way).
Costs: An organisation fee of 250 Euro per person has to be paid by April 15 to
